1. Staff Pose: Sit upright with your palms pressing into the ground beside your hips. Draw your shoulders toward your midline and then slightly down your back; press your palms firmly into the ground and attempt to drag them away from each other isometrically.
2. Mountain Pose: Come to stand at the top of your yoga mat with your feet hip distance. Begin to stack your joints from the ground up; knees over ankles, hips over knees, and shoulders over hips. Lastly, envision the crown of your head floating above your tailbone. Immediately, you'll feel a surge of confidence, focus, and happiness.
3. Tree Pose: From Mountain pose, place your right foot either to your inner ankle, shin, or thigh (not the knee joint). Firmly press your foot into your standing leg to establish strength and stabilization. Maintain the alignment of your shoulders over your hips. Now, switch sides. You should feel a straightening of the spine and a lightness that may make you smile
