Yin Yoga Certified Teacher Training

Yin Yoga continues to grow in popularity in the yoga community as a balance to our active practices and busy lives. By holding passive postures for longer periods of time Yin gives the practitioner the opportunity to experience an inner quietude and lean into the magic of relaxation and release. This program will serve you whether your desire is to develop more awareness around your Yin Yoga practice or a more eloquent language for teaching. No prerequisites or previous trainings are required. If you currently teach yoga, this program will offer Continuing Education Hours through Yoga Alliance.


The training will cover:

  • Traditional Chinese Medicine

  • The elements and organ functioning

  • The energetic body

  • The anatomy of breath

  • Somatic tools for relieving past pain

  • Your unique anatomy and how it relates to your Yin practice

  • Mindfulness Meditation

  • Targeting yin tissue with asana

  • Assisting and modifications in Yin Yoga

  • Restorative Yoga

  • The power of rest, relaxation, and embracing sensation

Completion of the 60 hour program and certification includes take home assignments outside of these hours. Full attendance required for certification. No make up hours.
