Cacao, believed to be a plant of the Gods, is the raw ingredient in cocoa and chocolate. It is an ancient fruit grown in tropical locations and produces the most bitter food in the world! The effects of cacao are often described as gentle and nurturing, yet powerful and potent.

A cacao ceremony originates from ancient Mayan and Aztec cultures, and is a celebratory ritual that opens the heart. It is used as a means to deepen one's connection with self and relationship with nature. Commonly referred to as Mama Cacao, when we consume this medicine, we receive her spiritual, nutritional, and physical benefits.

Your Facilitators: Abby Puente & Noelle Mietus

Abby is a passionate yoga teacher most recently falling in love with the Bhakti yoga tradition. She practices and shares singing mantra from the inside out.

Noelle is a passionate creative and yogi. She teaches meditation, breathwork and self-healing.

Noelle and Abby have committed themselves to developing inner awareness over the last 15 years in order to cultivate what they are now bringing forward together. Their work is influenced by their studies of yoga, meditation, energy work, body work, the voice and embodied expression.

This Anam Cara duo is inspired by the flow of nature, rooted in practices of devotion, and living life as a sacred dance. From embodiment practices to vocal activation workshops, you will find opportunities to deepen in your personal truths through their offerings.
