Welcome to Yoga Shala Sacramento. By accessing our website, booking a class, or attending an event, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

Acceptance of Terms

By using our services, including attending in-person or virtual classes, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Liability Waiver and Studio Conduct

  • All new students must sign a liability waiver before participating in any class or event.

  • Please be mindful of your belongings. Yoga Shala Sacramento is not responsible for any left, lost, stolen, or accidentally taken items.

  • No drugs or alcohol are permitted on the premises. If a Yoga Shala teacher suspects a student is under the influence, that individual may be asked to leave for their safety and the safety of others.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone whose behavior is disruptive, aggressive, or harmful to the studio environment or community.

Booking and Payment

  • Class reservations are subject to availability.

  • Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.

  • Prices, schedules, and services may be changed at any time at the studio’s discretion.

Cancellations and Refunds

Yoga Classes

  • Yoga Shala Sacramento may cancel or modify the regular class schedule as needed.

  • If you are pre-registered for a canceled class, it will not be deducted from your class pass.

  • If you prepaid a drop-in rate and the class is canceled, you will receive a full refund.

  • No refunds will be given due to changes in the regular weekly class schedule.

Workshops

  • If the purchaser cancels within 24 hours of or after the start time, no refund will be issued.

  • Yoga Shala Sacramento reserves the right to cancel workshops, retreats, or special classes at any time with as much notice as possible and will issue a full refund to the purchaser.

Retreats

  • Retreat deposits are non-refundable after 30 days.

  • Payments toward the balance are refundable up to 45 days prior to the retreat date, minus the deposit amount.

  • No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations made within 45 days of the retreat.

Class Passes

  • Class pass packages are valid for 1 year from the purchase date.

  • Unused classes are non-refundable and non-transferable to another client.

Memberships

  • Monthly auto-debit memberships require 15 days’ written notice to cancel.

  • Please contact Shala Management at yogashalasac@gmail.com to request cancellation.

  • No refunds will be issued for partial months after cancellation is initiated.

Health and Safety

  • Participation in yoga is voluntary and done at your own risk.

  • You agree to inform instructors of any injuries, limitations, or medical conditions.

  • You affirm you are in suitable health to participate in physical activity.

Online Participation

  • For virtual classes, you are responsible for ensuring your own safe environment and working technology.

  • Yoga Shala Sacramento is not liable for any injuries or technical issues encountered during virtual participation.

  • Recording of any class, live or virtual, is prohibited without explicit permission.

Intellectual Property

All materials, branding, and content provided by Yoga Shala Sacramento, including class recordings, written materials, and visuals, are the intellectual property of the studio and may not be used or reproduced without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yoga Shala Sacramento disclaims any liability for injuries, losses, or damages resulting from your participation in classes or use of our services.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services indicates acceptance of any revisions.
