This 3 part series focuses on self care techniques implementing myofascial release with the aid of therapy tools. Release and tone practices that unlock deep physical blockages, and open your natural fluidity and power. You’ll immediately feel the impact of these simple, pleasure-filled sessions on your mat and after while moving in your life.

There are (3) therapy tools used in this process, and they will be available in class for trial use and purchase.

  • 3 foot foam roller: when it comes to myofascial release, using correct density, so important. Bring your own and know that four densities will be available for you to try.

  • 4 inch smooth ball: best tool for psoas release and gentle exploration of problem areas. Psoas release, strength, length and asymmetries will be a major focus.

  • Wrapped tennis balls (2 pair): a gift to you so you can go deeper if you are ready and access the sticky soft tissue below the knee and between elbow and hand.

Session 1: Loose, Long, Strong: lower body

Session 2: Loose, Long, Strong: upper body

Session 3: The 20 Minute Tune Up: loose, long, strong

Dates: February 4, 11, 18 (Saturdays)

Bella is a physical therapist with an intimate knowledge of all of the physical challenges we experience as humans, and how to work through them effectively and with care. Bella has a clinical practice for myofascial release, and also teaches yoga and 5 Rhythms dance. She brings her love of life, wholistic health, and working with people wherever she goes.
