Let's experience magic of meditation with Biffy Cotter, Yoga Shala's loving spiritual director, who has been studying and practicing yoga and meditation nearly 20 years.In this workshop you will learn powerful meditations, breath techniques, and centering practices that can be applied to your daily life.
Instead of being in the here and now, we can be distracted by our own worries and thoughts. Technology is a constant pull of our attention. Meditation can counter these things. Meditation calms mind and body and the effect is that we have the pause to determine our actions and decisions. With a mindful meditation, we can exercise our inner needs better and change towards the journey of peace and balance.

Bring a yoga mat, wear comfy loose clothing. Folding chairs will be provided if you cannot get down on the floor. Blankets and yoga props provided. Meditation pillows recommended but not necessary.
There will be a 15 min stretch break in the middle of the workshop, feel free to bring a snack and drink.
