Chinese medicine recognizes late summer as its own season. With the qualities of balance and element of earth this time of year is perfect for coming into a grounding yoga practice of simplicity and breath. Join Jo Jo for this two part Yin/ Yang series exploring the essence of this unique season. Both classes will incorporate Yin yoga where we hold passive postures for tended periods of time and Vinyasa yoga to initiate heat in the body.
This balanced practice will be suitable for the beginner and the experienced student.
