Foundations in Asana is an all-levels, 2-hour posture clinic where students will dive deep into their physical practice. This workshop is great for beginners and/or students looking to approach basic postures from a new perspective. (Mountain Pose, Half lift aka flat back, Downward Facing Dog and more!)
Students will be introduced to and have the opportunity to explore the following concepts:
Kinesthetic joint function and creating balanced joint space with this new awareness
Efficient anatomical pathways of weight through bones
Ultimately the time spent at this workshop will be an investment in creating, discovering and uncovering steadiness and ease in asana and everyday life.
