February is the peak of summer in Thailand, and you will enjoy the warmth in temperatures while the other parts of the planet are in winter. Thailand is known for its welcoming culture, unique architecture, delicious cuisine, and the infusion of Buddhism helps to create a rich and peaceful experience while in Southeast Asia.

Our retreat will include daily yoga, a Thai yoga massage session for each participant, bike riding through the neighboring villages and rice patties, time for relaxation by the pool and fun with friends, and delicious healthy meals.

Tea & Dining

Cafe Rongbom serves our chef’s homemade desserts and seasonal sorbet soft serves, while our baristas are proud of our coffee and tea varieties along with the unique local seasonal fruit juice, harvested from our own and the nearby community farms.
The tropical style Poliang Bistro, in the entrance area, entices passers by and guests alike with its decorated wooden furniture in rural style. The gorgeous restaurant serves delicious local northern cuisine. Enjoy a variety of Thai - Chinese menus and typical northern dishes in pleasant surroundings with a forest-cooled, open-air, relaxed atmosphere.
Tao Cha or Tea Barn is the newest facility of Kaomai Estate 1955. It has been carefully designed and renovated from the damaged red brick walled tobacco drying barn with an inspiration from the original barn including its building and roof structure, tobacco leaf hanging sticks and air holes. The new building walls and the tea counter are constructed with the original red bricks from the old structure. The architect also designed “sunken space” to increase the vertical volume and “opened wall” to utilize the natural light and connect the users to the outside natural forest garden creating the unique tea drinking experience.
