Many of us operate and make decisions on a daily basis from the nervous system's response to stress and danger which is fight or flight. This perpetual pattern of stress can begin to take its toll on our emotional, physical, and mental well being. In this workshop we will delve into the anatomy of breath and the physical effects of this life force energy on the nervous system and our vitality. With the intention of mindful breathing we will enter a deep Yin yoga practice choosing shapes that support the desired effects of calm and ease and offer our body an alternative to the pattern of stress.
