This is a two hour workshop where you will learn about gut health as well as the medicinal benefits of essential oils, nature's medicine. Monica will share ways to bring your gut back into balance and share tasting samples of gut healthy foods and drink.
The majority of the immune system is located in the gut therefore when it is out of balance it can cause problems such digestive issues, food allergies, anxiety, depression, mood swings, skin problems, diabetes, autoimmune disease, frequent infections, poor memory or concentration and ADHD.
The second half you will enjoy a restorative yoga practice incorporating oils. Essential oils and yoga are a potent combination for relieving stress, which causes our digestion to be put on hold. They support deeper, more conscious breathing and activate the parasympathetic nervous system which is the rest and digest system of the body to counter fight or flight in the sympathetic nervous system.

Monica Biery is certified in aromatherapy, plant medicine and plant-based nutrition and a yoga teacher with 25 years of experience in natural health treatments. She has three children ages 18, 16 and 9 and they have never taken
prescription medications or antibiotics. Monica creates essential oil blends for relief from stress, insomnia, digestive issues, hormonal issues, headaches, side effects from pharmaceuticals and cancer treatments as well as many other ailments and concerns. Monica combines all of her interests, talents and education and is committed to helping others realize the magnificence of their bodies and the belief that they are designed to be healthy.
