At Yoga Shala, our mission is to help every student feel accepted as they are and at home from the moment they arrive. Our mission-based practice includes offering yoga classes, hosting workshops and events, leading yoga teacher trainings, and curating restorative retreats and wellness adventures.

Yoga Classes

  • VinYASA

    This dynamic movement yoga class is for all levels of practitioners who enjoy building heat, strength, and cardiovascular endurance. There is powerful breathwork, creative sequencing, and mindful alignment - students are encouraged to drink water and take rest at any time. You will feel stronger, more clear minded, relaxed and re-energized after class..

  • HATHA

    Hatha Flow class is suitable for all bodies, beginners or the practitioner who is looking for a steady and grounded yoga class. Hatha Yoga focuses on breathe, balanced sequences, alignment based instruction, and more time on the floor. Hatha Flow offers fewer poses and allows the student to spend more time exploring each posture and the use of yoga props/blocks and blankets. Bring a water bottle and hand towel.

  • YIN

    Yin Yoga is grounding, healing, and meditative, and is done primarily on the floor or at the wall while the body is supported with blankets and props. The practice restores energy, nourishes the fluids in the joints, strengthens the immune system, promotes deeper sleep, calms the mind. Yin Yoga is relaxing but deep and surprisingly profound and valuable.
